Installation of Chrome Remote Desktop:

Install Chrome:

• If you don't have Chrome already, download it from https://www.google.com/chrome/

Install Chrome Extension:

• Visit https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/chrome-remote-desktop/inomeogfingihgjfjlpeplalcfajhgai?hl=en
• Click "Add to Chrome" to install the extension

Enable Remote Access:

• Open Chrome and go to: https://remotedesktop.google.com/access
• Sign in to your Google account if prompted
• Click the "Get Started" button and follow the on-screen instructions
• When prompted, download and run the Chrome Remote Desktop Host Installer (.msi file)
• Follow any Windows security prompts to complete the installation

Generate a Code for Support:

• In the Chrome Remote Desktop web app, click "Generate a code" under the "Remote Support" section
• The code will be valid for 5 minutes
• Share the 12-digit access code with the person who will be providing remote support

Mac Installation of Chrome Remote Desktop:

• Visit https://remotedesktop.google.com/support
• Steps may be different to what is listed below, pay attention to any popups and allow access to permissions when prompted
• Click Generate Code, click Next and allow access
• If you are prompted to download the Chrome Remote Desktop Host .dmg file, download it and open it.
• Drag the Chrome Remote Desktop Host app to your Applications folder
• Open the Chrome Remote Desktop Host app from Applications
• Follow any system permission prompts to complete installation

• Click "Generate a code"
• The code will be valid for 5 minutes
• Share the 12-digit access code with the person who will be remotely accessing your Mac
