Hosting overview

Website hosting, provider support, and reliability expectations

Futurised hosts client sites on Crucial shared servers or Synergy Wholesale dedicated resource servers. This page explains how support works, where to check provider incidents, and when a dedicated resource server is worth considering.
Hosting support is at the provider level, not Futurised. Futurised can submit support requests, keep the thread moving, and track status updates for you.

Best for

  • Clients hosted through Futurised
  • Sites on Crucial shared hosting or Synergy Wholesale dedicated resources
  • Clients who want Futurised to coordinate provider support tickets
  • Businesses that need clearer expectations around outages and attacks
Support model

Futurised coordinates the issue, while the provider resolves the hosting layer

Hosting infrastructure is operated by Crucial or Synergy Wholesale. Their teams control the servers, network, control panels, and upstream incident response.

1. Provider owns the hosting platform

Crucial or Synergy Wholesale handles server-level support, network faults, control panel incidents, and infrastructure availability.

2. Futurised submits support requests

When you report a hosting issue, Futurised can lodge the provider ticket and supply the relevant website, account, and incident details.

3. Futurised tracks status updates

Futurised will keep track of provider responses and issue status updates, then pass on the useful information as the provider supplies it.

4. You can check provider status

Current provider incidents can be checked directly at status.crucial.com.au and status.synergywholesale.com.

5. Control panel access can be affected

During some attacks or infrastructure incidents, Futurised may lose access to hosting control panels. In that situation Futurised must wait for the hosting provider to restore access or resolve the incident.

6. WordPress issues are separate

If the problem is caused by WordPress, plugins, themes, content, forms, DNS records, or site configuration, Futurised can investigate that separately from provider-level hosting support.
Hosting options

Shared hosting, dedicated resources, and when to move up

Crucial shared hosting

Shared hosting is the lower-cost option for smaller WordPress sites. It can be suitable when traffic is modest and occasional provider-level incidents or shared-resource limits are acceptable.
Best when: the site is relatively light, budget matters, and the risk of shared-server resource contention is acceptable.

Synergy Wholesale dedicated resource server

A dedicated resource server gives the site a cleaner allocation of CPU, memory, storage, and server configuration than standard shared hosting.
Best when: reliability, isolation, and control matter more than keeping the hosting cost as low as possible.
Reliability and pricing

Dedicated resources reduce contention, but no hosting option makes a website immune to outages or attacks

A dedicated resource server is the next step when reliability and control matter more than the lowest monthly cost. It can improve isolation and troubleshooting, but it cannot guarantee permanent uptime.
Current shared/provider hosting

Existing hosting fee

  • Crucial shared hosting or current provider-level hosting
  • Provider support remains with the hosting provider
  • Futurised can submit support requests
  • Futurised can monitor provider status updates
  • Lower cost, lower isolation
Futurised coordination

Handled as needed

  • Lodge provider support tickets
  • Track provider responses
  • Pass on issue status updates
  • Escalate where the provider support path allows
  • Wait for provider resolution when control panels or infrastructure are unavailable
Risk acceptance

Hosting can still be affected by AI attacks, DDoS attacks, and provider outages

If you host with a Futurised provider, you accept that AI attacks, DDoS attacks, upstream provider incidents, and infrastructure faults may occasionally take your website offline for reasons outside Futurised direct control.
A dedicated server can improve reliability and isolation, but it does not remove every outage risk. Some incidents can prevent Futurised from accessing the hosting control panel, server tools, or support systems until the provider restores them.

What you accept

  • Provider-level issues may take your site offline
  • AI and DDoS attacks may exceed what Futurised can directly control
  • Hosting control panel access may be unavailable during some incidents
  • Futurised may need to wait for Crucial or Synergy Wholesale to resolve infrastructure issues
  • Futurised will submit support requests and track updates where possible
